Privacy policy

We keep this simple: what we collect when you send us a project inquiry, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Effective: October 12, 2026Last updated: October 12, 2026

01Who we are

Frosty Byte Creations (“Frosty Byte“, “we“, “us“) is a video editing agency that works with creators and brands on YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, brand films, color grading, motion graphics and sound design. This policy applies to our website at frostybytecreations.us and to the project inquiries you send us through it.

For anything related to your data, you can reach us at [email protected].

02What we collect

We only collect what we need to reply to you and understand your project.

Information you give us. When you use the inquiry form on our site, you provide:

  • Instagram handle so we can look at your channel and content.
  • Email address so we can reply to you.
  • Budget range so we can recommend the right next step.

If you email us, message us on Instagram, or send us footage and files, we also receive whatever you choose to include in those messages and files.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and the services our pages load may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you view. We do not use this to identify you personally.

We do not ask for payment card details, government ID numbers or other sensitive personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not send them to us.

03How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry, usually by email within 24 hours.
  • To review your channel and suggest the clearest next step.
  • To scope, quote and deliver video editing work you ask us to do.
  • To run, secure and improve the website and prevent spam or abuse.
  • To meet legal, tax or accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your inquiry details for advertising profiles.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request to take steps before entering a contract, our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, and your consent where we ask for it.

04Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and the business, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or restructuring of our business. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

05Cookies & embedded content

Our own pages are built to work without tracking cookies. However, some content on the site is loaded from third parties, and those services may set their own cookies or collect technical data when you load or interact with them:

  • Instagram embeds. When you open a portfolio reel, content is loaded from Instagram. Instagram may set cookies and collect data under Meta’s policies.
  • Google Fonts. Your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address.
  • Hosting and security. Our host or security tools may set essential cookies to keep the site running and protected.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using the main parts of this site, though embedded reels may not load. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this page first.

06How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details for as long as it takes to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. If we work together, we keep project and billing records for as long as needed for our legal and accounting obligations. Footage and files you send for a project are used only for that project, and we delete them once the work is complete and you no longer need us to hold them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, the UK or California), you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your information.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it, without affecting what we did before.
  • Ask for your information in a portable format.
  • Not be treated unfairly for using any of these rights.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm it’s really you before we act, and we will reply within the time the law requires. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

You can opt out of our emails at any time by replying “unsubscribe”. We only email you about your inquiry or your project.

08Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to our inbox and project files. No website or method of transfer is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please take care with what you send us.

09Children

Our services are for businesses, creators and adults. This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10International use

We work with clients worldwide, and the providers listed above may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site. Please check back now and then.
